Our Director Tomas Roberton joins the Tees Valley Combined Authority Business Board
We’re pleased to announce that our Director, Tomas Roberton, has joined the Tees Valley Business Board.
The Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) plays a key role in shaping regional growth, skills development, transport and investment. As a result, Tomas’s appointment reflects both his experience and his strong commitment to supporting the long-term success of businesses across the region.
In this role, Tomas works closely with leaders from local authorities, businesses and partner organisations. Together, they guide strategic decision-making and shape the future of the Tees Valley. In particular, Tomas contributes to conversations around sustainable growth, innovation and new opportunities for local SMEs.
What this means for local businesses
For SMEs across Teesside, strong representation at this level matters. Firstly, it ensures real business challenges are heard and understood. Secondly, it creates more opportunities to influence regional priorities. As a result, decisions better support growth, investment and long-term success across the region.
Commenting on his appointment, Tomas said:
“I’m chuffed to be appointed to the TVCA Business Board alongside some brilliant people. A strong and growing business community creates real opportunity across the region. I’m looking forward to working with the board and sharing our experience in a way that makes a meaningful impact.”
This appointment also strengthens our involvement in the region. More importantly, it shows our ongoing commitment to supporting businesses across the Tees Valley. At the same time, it positions us closer to the conversations that shape the local business landscape.
